Generally, for every types of shade nets, an index would be specified as a percentage which is called: shade factor. This index may not be clearly enough for some customers. Actually, shade factor is the amount of blocked sunlight by the use of shade net. For example, 60% percent shade net means it prevents from entering 60% percent of sunlight in to the zone which has been covered by that shade net.
